Avondale

Beautiful Avondale is home to some of the finest wines in South Africa. For over three hundred years the vineyards have produced premium grapes - today Avondale is driven by the desire to produce the best wine in the Cape.

De Zoete Inval

De Zoete Inval, near Paarl, is a paragon of the Boland's traditional family estate.

The Frater family has been making wine here for more than 115 years and today, brothers Gerard & John Robert Frater, the fifth generation on the estate, continue to produce fine wines of singular character, an art developed over 3 centuries.

The tasting room is managed exclusively by the family, and they offer personal attention, opinions and advice when asked.

Fairview

Fairview's original vineyards are situated on the southwest slopes of Paarl Mountain where the vines benefit from a variety of different soils and meso-climates.

Soils in the higher vineyards are comprised of decomposed granite and the valley floor is a sandy loam. Charles Back was recognised as South African Winemaker of the Year in 1996.

Several of the estate's wines have also won acclaim at prestigious events. The farm produces a wide range of wines, goat's milk, sheep's milk and exotic cow's milk cheeses.

Laborie

Nestled in the heart of the Paarl Mountains, 60 kilometres from Cape Town, this historic, original French Hugenot wine farm offers visitors an unforgettable experience.

Purchased in 1972 by KWV, the wine estate boasts a beautiful Manor House, a historic wine cellar, guesthouse and restaurant, in addition to the production of top quality wines and a brandy.

Nederburg

Situated in the Paarl Valley, and host of the annual Nederburg Auction.

Winner of more than 1100 international and local awards. Nederburg is the first farm in South Africa to be proclaimed a conservation area by the National Monuments Council.
