Safari Cape Town to Kruger National Park

A 14 day African safari, including the Big 5.

Enjoy a fully guided 14 day African wilderness safari from the Cape winelands to the Gardenroute, KwaZulu Natal, Swaziland and Kruger National Park, and discover beautiful South Africa with our professional tour guides in an airconditioned micro-bus.

The tour starts in Cape Town where we will visit the city, its well known Cape Winelands and the ruggedly beautiful Cape Peninsula. We travel to Oudtshoorn, known as the ‘Feather Capital of the World’ thanks to its huge ostrich industry. After a fascinating tour of an ostrich farm near Oudshoorn, we go under-ground to marvel at the icy formations in the world famous Cango Caves.

Enjoy a spectacular tour via the Outeniqua Pass to the town of George, where we then continue onto Knysna in the best possible way – on board of the nostalgic steam train, the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe. Upon arrival in Knysna, in the heart of the Garden Route spend the rest of the day discovering the joys of the many art galleries, craft shops and coffee bars Knysna has to offer.

We get to Port Elizabeth via the glorious indigenous Tsitsikamma Forest, fly to Durban in KwaZulu Natal and travel then to the kingdom of the Zulu’s. First stop is a vibrant cultural village with the sight of Zulu dancers, women craft clay pots and intricate beadwork.

Enjoy a cruise amidst the breathtaking wilderness of Lake St. Lucia, a World Heritage Site. Back on dry land, we drive into the tiny Kingdom of Swaziland, a former British Protection Territory, now ruled by King MsWati III.

We enter the vast Kruger National Park and set off in open safari vehicles in search of the Big Five - African lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard - and all manner of wildlife, birds and plants besides. This African wildlife safari through Kruger National Park is a beautiful opportunity to take wildlife pictures of the Big 5.

Explore living history in the form of Pilgrim's Rest, the old mining village where gold was first discovered. We travel on to the world famous Premier Diamond Mines, continue on to Pretoria before arriving in Johannesburg in the late afternoon.

This African wildlife safari departs every Sunday in Cape Town.
