Built in the 1890s our lovely victorian gay guest house is located in Sea Point and is only a few minutes from the bustling city centre of gay Cape Town, the world renowned V&A Waterfront, and the famous and trendy beaches of Clifton, Camps Bay & Sandy Bay.
With its secluded garden and swimming pool, this gay guest house in Cape Town offers the following accommodation: 7 bedrooms (mes), (main en suite), in which 1 can sleep a further 2 persons and one is equipped with a private entrance and separate kitchenette.
All rooms of the Blackheath Lodge have telephone, TV(M-Net), Minibar and private bathrooms with toilet. To keep the cold at bay during the winter season, the lounge and 2 bedrooms are equipped with lovely open fireplaces.
The gay guest house offers either a full English breakfast (served by Rick and Roland) or for those who cannot stand toast, bacon and eggs every morning, we drive down to the bakery and obtain a variety of fresh rolls and croissants for you to enjoy.
Blackheath Lodge is close to the gay scene of Cape Town, some of the gay bars in Cape Town Sea Point are in walking distance, other gay night clubs are a 5 minute drive away.
