The movie scene in South Africa is mainly dominated by 2 companies, Ster Kinekor and Nu Metro, whose cinemas are situated throughout Cape Town, particularly in all the major shopping malls. There are specialised cinemas for art and foreign films such as the Cinema Nouveau at the V&A Waterfront or at Cavendish Square and the Labia Theatre in Orange Street, Gardens.
