Camps Bay

We have our very own "gold" or "white sand" coast, otherwise known as Millionaire's Row. This fashionable area stretches from Bantry Bay, Clifton and on to Camps Bay. White sandy beaches are only a few minutes drive from the city center.

Bantry Bay and Sea Point

Bantry Bay, on the coastal road between Sea Point and Clifton, is centrally located for easy access to world class entertainment venues, shopping centres and restaurants. Itoffers spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean and Robben Island.

V&A Waterfront

The V&A Waterfront, situated between Robben Island and Table Mountain in the heart of the harbour, has become South Africa's most popular tourism destination. Against a backdrop of magnificent sea and mountain views, exciting shopping and entertainment venues intermingle with imaginative office locations. The nightlife is exciting and the restaurants are excellent.

City

The City Bowl encompasses the Central Business District as well as the suburbs of Gardens, Vredehoek, Tamboerskloof and Oranjezicht. It is nestled on the slopes of the majestic Table Mountain, Lion's Head, Devil's Peak and Signal Hill range of mountains. The suburbs are within easy walking distance of the city centre with plenty of historical places of interest, art galleries, museums, open air markets and retail shopping. Kloof Street and Long Street are both well known for its cosmopolitan and vibey atmosphere.

Stellenbosch

This is a rich, lush and beautiful part of the wine country, was founded in 1679 and is the second oldest town in South Africa. The pavements, streets and wine estates are shaded by giant oak trees and should not be missed.A strong University culture permeates the vibrant night life. This town is famous for its old and historical architectures, and has a mixture of Dutch, Regency and Victorian influence.

Franschhoek

Franschhoek is an hour's drive from the city. The French connection goes back to the Huguenots - French Protestants who fled Catholic persecution in the seventeenth century.
